Question
Do you think I could be pregnant???
I was VERY late for my period and when I got it, it was mostly just brown discharge and a bit of red it wasnt even really enough for a normal sized pad The whole week it was mostly brown discharge and now I still have this and its been way over a week. Its been about days and I still have this weird brownsometimes red discharge not enough for a pad but enough for a panty liner. I also have been super tired lately and dont seem to have any energy at all.
Answer
At this point a pregnancy test should provide reliable results and is the best way to tell. There are other things that can cause your cycle to be different but if youre not on birth control of any kind then Id rule out pregnancy first. You can continue to quotcyclequot for several months into it although its usually much lighter than normal. Take a test and see. If you doubt the results a doctor can order a blood pregnancy test which are more sensitive.brbrAnother thing to consider did you have sex, protected or not, about days prior to the onset of your period? That is give or take or days. If so its a possibility. If not, it is a lot less likely but still take a test to rule it out.brbrOh yeah hows your iron? That would be another thing that could affect your cycle and make you tired. If youre severely low on iron that is. Although usually vegans or vegetarians are at greatest risk if they dont supplement correctly anyone lacking iron in the diet could have a similar result. Like I said, there are a few other things that can cause that but rule out pregnancy and then go from there. Iron might be the next thing to look at.brbrGood luck.brbrEDIT To all those who say she couldnt be pregnant because she got her period that is INCORRECT. Many women continue to have cycles even though theyre pregnant. Thats why some people dont figure it out until theyre months along. Its even mentioned in pregnancy books all over. Check it out. Its possible. Typically its lighter. Heavier than normal bleed can mean a lost pregnancy.brbrAlso implantation bleeding is typically light spotting and doesnt last as long as this has. Usually days at the most. Not saying it isnt possible, but not likely. Implantation bleeding likely wouldnt happen when the period is due either, but about days prior given a somewhat regular cycle.
